NOTE: Over the past few months I have been dealing with some personal family stuff, which has taken a lot of time away from my blogging. I am catching up on blog post that I feel are worthwhile - like this amazing meal I was invited to by Chobani.
Together they created a gorgeous menu using Chobani yoghurt as an ingredient - in both the meal and cocktails. I went for the Szechuan Crusted Tuna with kombu puree and caramelised Chobani for starter followed by Lamb Rack & Lamb Belly with Chobani almond barley, olive, confit potato and apple and the Treacle Sponge with Chobani sorbet, candy bacon, bacon & vanilla foam.
The meal was Divine - anyone who can incorporate bacon into a desert is a genius. It was also lovely to get the opportunity to spend some time with the Chobani girls and meet some bloggers that I hadn't previously spoken to.
We also got a great Chobani goody bag, with recipe cards, an apron and some yoghurt as well as being sent a whole load of chilled yoghurt in the post (which meant when they arrived I could eat it immediately).
Chobani is a strained yoghurt, which makes is deliciously thick and creamy - my favorite flavor is the Blueberry one as well as the natural yoghurt flavour which we have with our Persian stew or even Chili! Chobani is made with only naturally sourced ingredients and is packed full of Protein making it a perfect pre or post workout food.
I was joined at the meal by some fabulous Brighton Bloggers who you can follow here:
