When Hubs and I got married, my family grew to include his, and my family have been fantastic in welcoming them in. We've been together for 7 years and as time drew closer to our big day I realised that my mother and father in law were two of the most amazing people and that I was truly blessed to be joining their family.
In the last few months, my mother-in-law (MIL) has conducted herself so admirably and shown incredible strength. She continued to work, while being her husbands primary carer until a week before he passed. No matter who you lose, the holidays and family events are always the hardest, especially the first ones and my family have tried to make MIL and Hubs have a nice Christmas.
So when Halifax Bank asked me if I would like an extra £50 to spend on someone special this Christmas, I immediately thought of her. I was sent an Amazon voucher in the post and proceeded to buy some additional presents for her. I used the voucher to buy the following:
