One of my all time favorite Brighton restaurants is The Coal Shed, Joe and I went there on Valentines Day last year and the food, service and atmosphere were all exceptional. Frankly, if I had the money I would eat ALL my meals there - even their takeaway sandwiches are like heaven in a brown paper.
After the success of The Coal Shed (seriously you have not tried steak until you come here), they are opening up a sister restaurant called The Salt Rooms. The new restaurant will celebrate the fruits of the sea and will focus on the finest seasonal and sustainable British seafood. Located next to The Hilton Metropole Hotel with a 50-cover terrace overlooking the West Pier it will be the perfect summer dining spot.
To help celebrate the opening, The Salt Rooms are hosting a #SaltSearch Treasure Hunt on Twitter. An interactive treasure hunt across the city’s most famous landmarks, starting at 10am on Friday 20th February and lasting until Sunday afternoon.
Special prize cards will be hidden around Brighton and Hove, with daily clues and riddles posted on The Salt Room Twitter page. Prizes on offer:
