I love having flowers in the house. I'm bloody awful at looking after them or any plant, luckily Joe has greener fingers than me and keeps everything alive. He even has a small collection of Cacti. With finances tight at the moment, the only time I get flowers are if I see some reduced ones in Tesco that will last a couple of days.
I was lucky enough to get sent a beautiful bouquet called Scented Blue Posy, described as "gorgeous posy of scented Hyacinths, pure white Roses, pretty Carnations and lace-like Waxflower. I was also gifted a White Rose Plant in a lovely vintage bucket, both by Serenata Flowers.
They were both delivered in a box with padding to protect them and plenty of water to keep them moist. The bouquet outlived any I've had before, they were still going 2 weeks after delivery. As you can see they graced my dinner table (this was for Mothers' Day) and they also took pride place on the mantle.
Joe has kept the Rose plant alive (a feat I'd never accomplish) and they now brighten up my computer desk.
