Hotel Chocolat Chocolates*

Millenium Hotels sent me an amazing selection of Hotel Chocolat chocolates to review and help them decide which they should leave their guests. I got sent the Goody bag of the season which contains Gemstones Drops, Salted Caramels, Eton Mess Slab, Billionaire Shortbread and a smiley faced lollipop called Mick Smiley Lick.

This will not come as a shock to anyone, but I thought they were all lovely. I love chocolate, all chocolate. My favourite two though are the Gemstones and the Salted Caramels.

The Gemstones literally melt in your mouth, like a chocolate dream, I reluctantly shared these with Joe. They are made of the most divine chocolate you have ever tasted.

As for the Salted Caramels, they were pure heaven. I love the mix of salt and sweet and these were perfect. The caramel in the center was extra soft too. I bit the tops off and then licked the caramel out. ( I also eat my Twix bars by removing the caramel first and then eating the biscuit).

I had been a bit unsure of the Eton Mess slab as it contains dried strawberries, but it was a lovely surprise with yummy pieces of meringue in it. The Billionaire Shortbread was also yummy, but probably my least favorite.

Despite the fact that the Salted Caramels and the Gemstones were my favorite I think Millenium Hotels should leave a Mick Smiley Lick in their hotel rooms. Not only is Mick likely to be more to everyones taste, but his smiley face will put everyone in a good mood!
