Since losing weight before the wedding and spending a week in Spain, I have finally been able to accept that I have quite nice legs. I have a new love of dresses and skirts, and love the idea of teaming them with funky tights.

This new confidence teamed with a busy October, has meant that I have been browsing websites for outfit inspiration for, my first day at my new job, a blogger event I am holding and a Halloween party that I am attending.

In my search for the perfect wardrobe, I found myself repeatedly ending up looking at the autumn day dress collection from New Look. The range has a great price point and is full of a big diverse selection of dresses that can be dressed up with bright tights and heels or more casual with a pair of trainers or boots.

Outfit number one is a bit preppy, I know that skater skirts really flatters my figure, I've teamed the skirt with an on trend fluffy jumper. I wasn't too keen on these to begin with, but they have really grown on me. To build the preppy theme, I added a gold collar necklace and some heeled Brouges. I feel like this outfit could come straight out of the film Clueless!

The second outfit is a Halloween costume to party get up. The skeleton print on the dress makes it perfect for halloween, teamed with fishnets and these beautiful heels means that you can wear it taking your little sister Trick or treating and then head straight to a party! I also love this set of Glow in the Dark nail varnish, to add an edge of eerie.

The final outfit is here to help me decide what to wear to my first day at my new job next week. I want to be comfortable and confident, while looking slightly professional (Digital Marketing tends to be quite  laid back environment). I've already posted about my love of Chelsea boots, so they seemed like an obvious choice to dress this outfit up. I chose this daisy print dress as it reminds me of Courtney Love/Seattle grunge circa 1990, which is a look I have loved since I was about 13. To keep the grunge element, I've added a grey chuncky knit cardigan and a geometric necklace. So that the outfit isn't too black and grey, I've injected colout buy adding these yellow tights.

What do you think of these looks?
