FASHION | Look Polished 24/7 With These Fashion Must Haves

What woman doesn’t want to look polished 24/7? With the hectic life many of us live these days, it can be difficult to achieve. However, I guarantee you’ll find it much easier if you keep the following must haves in your possession at all times. You could even try to build a bit of a capsule wardrobe around these items. Take a look:

A Large Handbag

All women need a big handbag to fit their essentials in. You could get away with a small handbag at times, but I bet when you’re going shopping or to work you need a suitcase to fit all of your things. That’s why a sturdy, reliable, large handbag is essential. I’m not saying you have to put your dog in there to be the next big fashionista, but it needs to make a statement for sure.

A Dainty Necklace

I love nothing more than wearing a dainty necklace with a loud outfit to soften it up a little. You can do the same if you’re wearing a plain outfit; spice it up with a statement necklace. I wouldn’t be without my dainty necklace though; perhaps a chain that holds a loveheart or maybe even my name. Just make sure you don’t do one of the things I hate most; wear it in the bath or shower. I take off all of my jewellery before going anywhere near water or shower gel!

A Cocktail Ring

Cocktail rings. I won’t lie; I’m a bit obsessed. I love them. I’d wear one on every finger if I didn’t think that they’d look too garish. I wouldn’t mind looking like a gypsy in all honesty. I do like to mix up the shapes, styles, and sizes though for a bit of variety. I take my ring styling very seriously. I wear midi rings, thumb rings, big rings, small rings...any rings. I just like rings, OK?

Earrings

I feel naked without a pair of earrings in. I remember when I never wore studs, and didn’t think anything of it. That all changed when I got my first pair of gold clip earrings (perfect if you have stretched ears and can't wear studs!). I now wouldn’t be without them and think they can make a huge difference to a look!

Black Boots

Black boots go with anything. They’re a real wardrobe staple. I really don’t know what I’d do without my black boots in my life. I have a few pairs; a thigh high pair and a pointed ankle height pair. I love them both equally and could never banish them from my wardrobe.

Skinny Jeans

Skinny jeans might not be your cup of tea, but they sure are mine. Sure, sometimes I like to wear the odd pair of mom/boyfriend jeans. However, skinny jeans look much dressier even when you’re not going anywhere. Throw these on with a t-shirt and your black boots and you’ll look ready to go anywhere! You can even wear them with heels for a night out.

Sunglasses

Do I really need to tell you the benefit of owning sunglasses? For one, they protect our delicate eyes from the sun. For another, they stop us getting premature wrinkles around our eyes. They’re essential on a sunny day, or even a bright cold day. You need them for protection. They can look pretty bad ass too if you take the time to choose a nice pair.

A Posh Watch

OK, I’ll admit; bit of a watch obsession here too. Who doesn’t love a fancy looking watch? It doesn’t have to cost thousands of pounds; you can find designer watches at high street prices. Just look at it as an investment. Your wrist is naked without one of these! Do some research, set a budget, and then go watch shopping for a quality timepiece. You won’t regret it.

An LBD

A little black dress can be dressed up or down depending on the type of event you have to attend. I love pairing one with a pair of boots and tights, maybe even a leopard print jacket. You can also dress it up with your favourite heels and and a little clutch bag. An LBD is a must have for spring weather at least, as you can do so much with one. They’re perfect!

A Biker Jacket

A biker jacket looks sassy, cool, and is great for any time of day. They look amazing thrown over a nice dress on a night out, or just worn with a casual outfit.

A Silk Scarf

A silk scarf can be worn a ton of ways, so don’t be fooled into thinking that you can only wear it around your neck. You can wear it as a belt, as a bag accessory, and even as a hair accessory. If you do only want to wear it as a scarf, there are a load of ways you can tie it to make it look a little different.

A Black Blazer

A black blazer can give off the right impression if you’re going to a job interview. But that doesn’t mean it’s too boring to wear anywhere else! You could wear it to the pub, on a date...anywhere you would like to look sassy and polished. I love the way a blazer looks with a plain t-shirt, ripped jeans, and some boots.

Pretty Flats

You just can’t beat a pretty pair of flats if you’re in a girly mood. I suggest splashing out a little on them to make sure they’re high quality. Some cheap shoes might look nice, but they’ll last about 3 wears before you begin to get holes in the soles. Designer flats aren’t even all that expensive. I love looking on sites like Secretsales to see if there are any on offer!

There you have them; the fashion must haves you need in order to look polished all the time. Do you have any of these must haves? Will you be purchasing after reading this post? Leave a comment and I hope to see you again soon!
