Fashion | I'm a Barbie girl....

Ok, so I am definitely not Blonde enough to be Barbie, and possibly, as my 30th approaches a bit too old to be wearing this jumper. But when you spend 8years of your life working in a toy shop you get a connection to certain brands. I was working the day the that Barbie and Ken had broken up and it hit the papers (this actually happened, Ken did an 'Exclusive Interview' with the Sun).

Anyway, back to my outfit. Maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis, maybe I just wanted to breathe a bit of fun into my wardrobe, but I like the Barbie top, and also got a lot of compliments about the colour and how it suited me (whether people are just happy to see me out of dark colours I dunno).

I wasn't sure about the fit of this top, sweatshirts can be a difficult fit for me, if the collar is too high It can really cut off my body and make me look like I am smuggling melons under my top. However, I thought the fit wasn't too bad. The quality was a lot better than I thought it would be considering the price.

I teamed the jumper with my Topshop Joni jeans, my leopard trainers and a statement necklace. I think it's a cute outfit for a casual day.
