Lifestyle | Ways to ensure this Valentine's Weekend is one to Remember

Valentine’s weekend is coming and this year you need to make it one to remember. Treating the one you love, or even better, being treated by the one you love is one of the best feelings in the world, so how can you make it super special?
It doesn’t have to be expensive or luxurious, just doing something to show that special someone that you care and that you love them is enough. For some couples this might be something small like spending a weekend together relaxing or going out for dinner or drinks, and to others it could be a weekend in Paris. With Valentine’s Day falling on a Sunday this year, it means that a lot of restaurants and hotels will definitely get booked up in advance for the weekend so book early. Here are some ideas to make sure you make your valentine’s weekend is unforgettable this year:

A Country Break

There’s nothing more romantic than escaping to the countryside for a weekend away with your partner. Think about snuggling by an open fire in gorgeous country pub after an afternoon stroll through the idyllic rolling fields. Your someone special will be so impressed when you surprise them with a delicious meal and complementary bottle of prosecco that you’re sure to be in the good books. Take a look at the great country breaks on offer at Classic British Hotels today.

A City Break

If you’re feeling more extravagant and really want to spoil the one you love this year then why not take them on a European city break. You can get flights and a hotel to some amazing destinations for quite cheap if you book in advance and it makes for a great surprise. Try Dublin or Edinburgh for somewhere that’s not too far where there’s loads to do. From sightseeing, to fine dining and plenty of cocktails, a cute valentine’s city break will definitely be one to remember.

Go Ape

If you’re the type of couple that would be bored with a weekend away and don’t enjoy city breaks then an adventurous day out at Go Ape could be just the thing. With Go Ape centres dotted around the UK in lots of different destinations you can make a weekend of your trip and spend a fun filled day at the adventure park. From jumping on the zip wire to trying out the obstacle course, all the adrenaline is sure to make for a day you won’t forget.

What are your Valentines day plans?
