Healed permanent brow with threading
Hopefully this picture gives you a better idea of what they look like.
I've written many posts about eyebrows. It all started with my HD Brow obsession and then I had my first permanent eyebrow session. Last week I had my final session, so I left them a week to heal before I blogged about them.
I love them personally, and they make my life so much easier. I also think the shape suits me better than before (even with HD Brows). I did really like my HD Brow, but looking back they were just too thick and square, not to mention maintaining them are quite difficult and filling your eyebrows in can be quite time consuming. All i have to do now is get my eyebrows threaded twice a month (which costs me £8 a go compared to £35-£45 with HD Brows). Yes I know getting them tattoo'd is expensive, but they are an investment, I am saving money in the long term!
A lot of my friends have been surprised how great they have turned out! Especially those who saw me on the first day they were done when they were still really dark. I think this is mainly to do with the bad reputation permanent makeup seems to have. Even when I was thinking about getting mine done I was envisaging blacky/blue marker pen clown eyebrows but in all fairness permanent makeup has come a long way, just make sure you research your technician before booking. Mine were done by Katy Jobbins at Sussex Permanent Makeup. She has pioneered a lot of great techniques and is Head Trainer at her own Permanent Makeup Training Academy.
Despite all my initial reservations, I'm seriously thinking of going back and getting my lips done - nothing drastic, just defining them (they won't look lined or anything).
If you have any questions just ask! I did do a bit of a FAQ on the first blogpost about my experience.
Love Lilla x
