LIFESTYLE | What I Got For Christmas

Happy (belated) Christmas and New Year! OK so I know Christmas was a while ago now, but I've been busy stuffing my face and haven't blogged yet. I thought I'd just put up this quick post to show how lucky I've been. This isn't everything I was gifted, just some highlights.

PLEASE note the Micheal Kors watch that I blogged about is in there! I was truly not expecting it as I thought it was a lot to ask, but my sister was on a mission to make Christmas special so arranged for it to happen and her and my other sister chipped in and got me the beautiful matching bracelet too!

What was your favorite Christmas present?

BEAUTY | Liz Earle Cleanse, Tone and Moisturiser Review

Liz Earle Skincare Range*
I have been using the Liz Earle skincare range since I was about 13 and my mum discovered it on QVC. Ever since I started using the product I have been a faithful customer and also use some of the other products. Like with all skin routines you use these products morning and night.

The Cleanse & Polish* (£14.25 for 100ml) contains rosemary, chamomile, cocoa butter and eucalyptus essential oil and is an award winning cleanser. To use the cleanser you massage it onto your dry skin over your face and neck  to 'purify, soften and stimulate the circulation.'

You then take the muslin that comes with the cleanser (not pictured) soak it in warm water and wring it out and gently remove the cleanser from your face, this helps exfoliate the skin. Then splash your face with cold water.

After using the cleanser it leaves your skin feeling beautifully soft unlike other skincare products my that can leave you feeling tight and dry. It also fully removes all make up, including mascara.

The next step is the Instant Boost Skin Tonic* (£12.50 for 200ml) which contains the naturally active ingredients aloe vera, chamomile, calendula cucumber and natural vitamin E which revitalises and softens. There is also rose-scented geranium, lavender and sweet orange to restore and revive.

Firstly the toner smells beautiful, it isn't too strong or over powering, just a subtle floral hint. Pour a generous amount of toner on to a cotton bud and apply over the face and neck.

The final stage is the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser* (£18.75 for 50ml), I use the cream for normal/combination skin and swear by it. The cream contains borage and avocado oil, echinacea, beta-carotine and natural vitamin E. You only need the smallest amount and that will keep your skin hydrated all day without leaving your skin greasy or shiny.

I honestly haven't got a bad word to say about these products and I think the fact that I have used them for nearly half my life says it all.
Have you tried Liz Earle? Or do you have a skincare product you are loyal to? Let me know!

BEAUTY | Lilla Loves Empties #1 - My first ever video blog!

That's right this is my first ever video blog! I've been meaning to make it for ages but have been putting it of as I am a but dubious of the whole thing. Anyway please watch it and let me know what you think and if there is anything I could improve!

I know I ramble on a bit, but please forgive me, I filmed it like 6 times before I gave up and thought just post it. These are some of my empties from the past few months! I hope to make empties and tutorials a more regular content format on my blog as I think it's nice to mix it up a bit!

Hope you enjoy it!
