Painted Mason Jar Flower Vases
This tutorial by Mason Jar Crafts Love is so simple even I could do it! The jars can be used as flower vases, utensil pots, pen holders, the list I am sure could go on. You can chose any colour or colours to compliment the room that you want to freshen up.
Teacup Candles
I love these delicate teacup candles - a few of my crafty friends have been making these for a while, but I haven't yet had a go. This step by step guide has been written by Apple Brides. These lovely Teacup candles could be a lovely wedding decorations, a beautiful addition to a kitchen or bathroom as well as a lovely prop for a tea party.
Heart Cork Board
This is something I wanted to make after my wedding (which is why the tutorial is on wedding site Green Wedding Shoes) instead of the corks we were going to use the natural stain on the red wine. Unfortunately, collecting all the corks and transporting them back from Spain just didn't happen. But I think this is a lovely day, you can obviously change the wording to what ever you like i.e. your wedding date, married surnames or lyrics from your first dance.
Fabric Bulletin Board
There is nothing as boring (IMO) as being organised. I'm rubbish at it, and I live in a constant state of chaos, not ever knowing where I have pout things and forever looking for my keys, mobile or bank card. This tutorial from The Happy Housie allows you to brighten up your office or kitchen-maybe make it a focal point on a plain wall by picking out a striking wall printed fabric.
No Sew Cushions
Happy Housie also created this no sew cushion tutorial which is great for someone like me who is unable to sew or use a sewing machine. A simple thing like changing your cushion covers can really transform an area or make it pop.
