When Hubs has the weekend off, one of our favorite things to do is to have a walk through Hove and along the seafront. The morning had been a bit miserable, but had brightened up when we decided to head out. It was really windy, and I manage to keep my hat on for a whole five minutes before it had to go in my bag!

As always we grabbed a coffee from Small Batch, which is an independent Brighton Coffee chain that has really made is mark in the area. Their coffee is divine, and the shops are achingly cool. They also have people serving Coffee in portable bars at Brighton and Hove stations in the morning!

Despite battling the wind we managed to make it to the sea, to walk along for a bit, before Hubs noticed it was raining in the distance, and we decided to head back. Luckily we were not to far away from home when it started absolutely pouring it down.

Had a very busy week this week! Joe and I went on a special shopping trip before our lovely meal at Coast to Coast followed by seeing Dark Knight Rises, which is every bit as amazing as I hoped! I was speechless and thats an achievement.

I had to find my wedding outfit this week and I succeeded which made me soo happy because I've been having a diet downer for the last two weeks! 

It was Joe's dads Birthday and we went to the Friars Oak and I tried duck breast for the first time! It was yummy! 

My good friend Erin has helped motivate me to be more active again and we went for a 6 mile walk/natter along Hove seafront. I'm so lucky to live so close to the sea! I'm spending so much time down there at the moment.

Finally onsie love! Nothing better than relaxing in an evening in my onsie.

Hope you guys have a good weekend! It's my friends hen today so I know it's going to be an amazing day! Getting a bit teary thinking about the wedding next Saturday because I'm ecstatic for her and I know she is going to look so beautiful!

Haven't bee feeling great the last few days so just relaxing this weekend, although I am dying to go to the gym and need to do some house work, glamorous I know! Have a good weekend guys!

LIFESTYLE | ....and so I begin

This is the start of my new blog.  I've started writing again as I have a few interesting ideas which I will share with you in some future posts.

To be honest, I don't really know how to start this, it's always odd to write these things about yourself without sounding really self absorbed, so here are 10 facts about myself instead.

1. I have 2 cats, they are called Sega and Tobias.

2. Harry Potter is my guilty pleasure, I watch the films, read the books and listen to Stephen Fry read them all the time.

Yes I know I am too old but frankly I don't care, I love escaping to JK Rowling's amazing fantasy world.

3. I'm British and Persian. I say Persian, to be more specific Iranian. I have never been to Iran, but I will one day.

4. I love leopard print and skulls.

5. Brighton is my hometown, but I live in Hove (actually).

6. One day I want to travel across the U.S of A to see Miami, Los Angeles, New York, West Chester, Jersey Shore (I am not ashamed), Salem and obviously Las Vegas.

7. I love watching films, to be honest it doesn't really matter what it is! I love 80's films at the moment, but the best films are those I watched in my teens. They seem to stick with you.

8. I have a vegetable patch in my garden where we grow potatoes, tomatoes, onions and herbs. ( I say WE, I mean my boyfriend)

9. If you didn't guess I LOVE watching trash TV. Some of my favorites are Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Jersey Shore, 90210, Make It or Break It and Veronica Mars the list could go on (and on).

So that really sums me up.. well not at all. Like most people I am a bit more complex than the 10 random facts listed here and hopefully that will become more apparent the more I write!
