FASHION | Micheal Kors Rose Gold Watch - I Need This in My Life

Rose Gold Micheal Kors watch

I haven't worn a watch in actual years! I guess I just grew out of it, but recently I have really wanted a nice Rose Gold watch (I've seen some on ASOS and River Island). But what I have decided is I NEED a Rose Gold chunky Michael Kors watch in my life!

Although the watches are quite expensive (£150+) compared to ones in ASOS or on River Island, it is a good investment if I intend to continue wearing watches. I was originally thinking gold, but I am quite a big silver wearer and I don't like to mix the two, although I think rose gold goes with silver a lot more.

I really like this one which is the Michael Kors Baguette-Bezel in Rose Gold and is on the website for $295 dollars, but I've found stockist that sell others in his rage from £177.

Are you a watch wearer?

   Curlformers Blogger Competition

loose wave curls - curlformers long and extra wide /dress - missguided /shoes - misguided / tights - misguided

I'm off on holiday next week! So thought I would look at an outfit to go out in one evening. I like to wear my hair down, it gives me more confidence, especially if it is full of volume and shine. To achieve this look I would blow dry my roots to give them a boost and then apply Curlformers Long and Extra wide to the ends of my hair and then leave them to dry.
Once dry I would remove the Curlformers and separate the curls using my fingers or a wide tooth comb and apply a bit of shine serum all over and some hair spray. Curlformers curls last longer than 'tonged' curls so my hair will maintain the curls throughout the night and as there is no heat used so create the curls they are softer and shiner than 'tonged' curls too.
I'm going on holiday near Marbella, and Puerto Banus is glam central, so I have teamed together this beautiful sequined dress with these red soled killer heels. The dress covers my arms, which I am quite conscious of and the cross over style will flatter my shape. To add a bit of fun and 'me' to the look I have added these cute tights with the heart 'seam' at the back.
Hope you like the look and good luck to anyone who enters the competition!

FASHION | Passion For Fashion Blogger Challenge

The aim

The aim is to create some fantastic looks for autumn/winter by being as creative and stylish as you can, but also looking for great value products and make potential savings wherever possible.
In your blog post, you should clearly state which category each outfit is for. You should also credit the source of all images you use, and explain why each outfit is great value and will stand the test of the great British winter. Remember, the more detail the better!

top + jeans + cardigan + satchel + shoes + necklace = £126.96
This is my office outfit. Where I work the dress code is quite relaxed. I've teamed these shiny jeans with a casual t-shirt that has a fun print and a snuggly cardigan, my office is open plan and can get a bit cold. I shopped around for the jeans to find the best price I could and found that New Look are generally cheapest on super soft jeans.
To dress the outfit up a bit I added the statement necklace and shoes. Although the necklace costs £15.00 it's versatile and can be worn day or night with a variety of outfits. I chose a satchel to accompany the outfit as it is practical and I love them!
top + jeans + jacket + bangles + hat + trainers + bag = £142.94
This is my casual look. I like to relax in jeans and an oversized t -shirts. The jacket will keep me warm and also adds a grunge edge to it as does the hat. The high tops have a hidden wedge and adds some height. The stud details on the bag and the bangles add to the grunge loo. The biker jacket can be worn with various looks in mind and by not going for leather reduces cost hugely.
top + jeans + cardigan + shoes + necklace + ring + purse = £148.00
I recently got engaged and have been with Joe for close to six years, so I haven't been on a first date in many many years. I think it is important to start a potential relationship off with an honest start and have never felt the need to get all dressed up. This outfit really shows who I am, the wedged boots and accesories dresses it up a bit making it a good option for drinks, the cinema or dinner. I love the purse and it's on sale.
top + leggings + coat + necklace + boots + bag = £198.99
My outdoor look consists of some sturdy knee high boots, some wet look leggings and a t-shirt with a neon trim to add a bit of colour. The knitted coat will keep me warm and snug. I chose this silver necklace to jazz up the basic outfit. The backpack's quilted detail matches the boots. These boots would be hard wearing and really suitable for outdoor use and therefore worth the £55.
cuff + ring + shoes + dress + nail varnish + clutch = £147.50

This is my Party look. It's very different from all my others. Firstly it is a dress and secondly it's rather girly look! I think dresses are great for a big night out and they give me a huge amount of confidence at a party. I've teamed the dress with rose gold accessories, the rings R.R.P is £110.00 but it is reduced to £21.50 which is a major bargain!

FASHION | Curvy Kate Release World's First J Cup T-shirt Bra

Full-busted champions Curvy Kate have released the World’s first t-shirt bra that goes all the way up to a J cup.

In the past, big bosomed ladies have been subjected to a sea of ‘up to a G cup’ moulded T-shirt bras which leaves them very limited or even excluded from the popular style.

For years, fuller-figured girls have been crying out for ‘moulded’ cups. A recent Facebook poll revealed that only 14% of busty women have found a moulded cup bra that fits them well.
Curvy Kate’s customer feedback suggests that big boobs benefit from moulded cups for the coverage and smooth, rounded shape. With larger boobs the extra strength and structure of the bra mould supports and lifts the bust to give a gorgeous shape that looks incredible under T-shirts and tight clothing without compromising on fit or comfort.
With fit at the forefront of every product, Curvy Kate are passionate about producing pieces that curvy women enjoy wearing. Although the brand’s ranges always incorporate a fashion edge, Curvy Kate are keen to offer lingerie solutions for everyday wear – with the moulded cup being the first of many new innovations to be launched over the next few years.

Georgina Horne, curvy blogger of Fuller Figure Fuller Bust stated:
“I’m a moulded bra addict but have struggled for years to find one which combines the perfect shape with the perfect fit. When you have bigger boobs it’s impossible to find a company which caters to larger cup sizes, and a moulded cup above a G is practically unheard of. To achieve the perfect T-shirt ready look, full-busted women often compromise either the shape or the fit – or even both! I’m delighted that Curvy Kate has brought out a bra that will cater to so many more women who long for the unrivalled smooth and sexy cleavage that only a moulded cup can provide.”

To satisfy both their customers who want a plain understated look and those yearning for something a bit interesting from their moulded bras they’ve designed the bra with a highly popular subtle black and slate leopard print.
Product Developer Adriana Olszewska continues, “Our Smoothie bra has been developed with the Curvy Kate customer in mind who looks for fashion as well as fit. The new moulded cup offers an amazing lift and gives a smooth curvy silhouette, and as goes up to a J cup it caters for many women who couldn’t find this smooth look before.”

The new Smoothie bra will retail at £29 and will be available from ASOS and Very from September 2012. The bra incorporates a two tone leopard print in black/slate, with cute silver centre pendant. It will be available through existing retailers and distributed worldwide.

FASHION | Cats Eye Sunglasses

Glasses I'm wearing - ASOS Cat Eye Sunglasses With Contrast Highbrow
Mango - CAT-EYE STYLE SUNGLASSES

Ray Ban- Cats

Urban Outfitters - Metal Tipped Cats Eye Sunglasses

The sun is here! Yesterday evening Joe and I went to Hove seafront and had a skateboard, then had a few drinks on the beach. It was bright so I got to wear my cat eye sunglasses! I really love the cat eye look and thought it would be nice to have a change as I usually wear big bug eye sunglasses. The ones I'm wearing are the same as the ones I put in the ASOS £100 Blogger Challenge outfit I put together. I've got a lot of comments about the glasses, and am glad I took the plunge. I wouldn't have had the guts to wear them this time last year but I really am trying to step out of my comfort zone more and more, as I get slimmer. Instead of being the girl with the big baggy black clothes I want to be the girl who wears what ever she wants.

Anyway there are some pictures of me in my glasses and a few other cat eye glasses that I'm eyeing up.

FASHION | ASOS Blogger Challenge - My Entry

Top : £15.00
Trousers : £28.00
Shoes : £18.00
Sunglasses : £12.00
Bracelet : £18.00
Outfit Total: £91.00

I decided that I would enter the Discount Coder ASOS Blogger Challenge. The aim of the game is to make an outfit for £100 or under from items bought solely from ASOS. The winner of the challenge gets £100 ASOS vouchers.

I know fashion isn't something I've really approached yet, but as I get slimmer and start buying new clothes (I find it hard to bring myself to spend money on clothes that won't fit me in a month) I would like to start doing more fashion focused pieces and maybe even outfit of the days.... But we will see. Anyway let me know what you think of my out fit :)
