COMPETITION | Curlformers Blogger Competition

Curlformers are running a bloggers competition to win a £100 ASOS Voucher and I am lucky enough to be the judge! Details of entry are below and the Terms and Conditions can be found at the bottom of the competition post on the Curlformers blog. I have also created a sample post which can be seen below.

How to Enter

·      Write one of the following types of blog posts

o   Create an outfit post (with links to all products) including a curly hairstyle of your choice stating which Curlformers you would use to achieve it with a link back to the product page.

o   A post with a montage of curly hair/hairstyles images stating which Curlformers you would use to achieve it with a link back to the product page.

o   A how to/tutorial demonstrating how to create your favourite curly hair style stating which Curlformers you would use to achieve the initial curl type with a link back to the product page.

o   If you have Curlformers please fill free to create a post with your Curlformers tips and which Curlformers you frequently use.

·         Let other bloggers know they can enter by pointing them to this page.

   Curlformers Blogger Competition

      I'm off on holiday next week! So thought I would look at an outfit to go out in one evening. I like to wear my hair down, it gives me more confidence, especially if it is full of volume and shine. To achieve this look I would blow dry my roots to give them a boost and then apply Curlformers Long and Extra wide to the ends of my hair and then leave them to dry. 

      Once dry I would remove the Curlformers and separate the curls using my fingers or a wide tooth comb and apply a bit of shine serum all over and some hair spray. Curlformers curls last longer than 'tonged' curls so my hair will maintain the curls throughout the night and as there is no heat used so create the curls they are softer and shiner than 'tonged' curls too.

      I'm going on holiday near Marbella, and Puerto Banus is glam central, so I have teamed together this beautiful sequined dress with these red soled killer heels. The dress covers my arms, which I am quite conscious of and the cross over style will flatter my shape. To add a bit of fun and 'me' to the look I have added these cute tights with the heart 'seam' at the back.

HAIR | Final Week Dove Colour Radiance Challenge and #giveaway

I've finished the Dove Colour Radiance Challenge. My personal favorite item from the range is the leave in conditioner, it's so light that you can use it to help refresh your hair in between washes, not to mention is has UV filters so protects from sun damage. The regular conditioner did the trick as well despite my early doubt. My personal experience with the shampoo is that it made my head itch, which is normal as I have to use 100% natural shampoo, but as this is low in sulphates it took 3 week or so before it started itching which is a miracle.

Anyway, the lovely people at Dove sent me some of the range out so that I can run a competition and give you guys the chance to try the range for yourself!

I decided that I would enter the Discount Coder ASOS Blogger Challenge. The aim of the game is to make an outfit for £100 or under from items bought solely from ASOS. The winner of the challenge gets £100 ASOS vouchers.

I know fashion isn't something I've really approached yet, but as I get slimmer and start buying new clothes (I find it hard to bring myself to spend money on clothes that won't fit me in a month) I would like to start doing more fashion focused pieces and maybe even outfit of the days.... But we will see. Anyway let me know what you think of my out fit :)

So excited! This is my first ever blog giveaway! Selecspecs, the home of the £6 prescription glasses, have given me a pair of stunning Pierre Cardin sunglasses to celebrate the opening of its first real shop! The usually online retailer is opening up a shop in Westgate On Sea in Kent.

I love these big frames they are very retro,  and they remind me of Audrey Hepburn!

1. The Selectspecs designer sunglasses competition (the “Competition”) is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over.

2. The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of Selectspecs, their group companies or family members or anyone else connected to the Competition or LillaJade.blogspot.co.uk.

3. Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

4. To enter the Competition you email TheLillaJade@gmail.com detailing which sunglasses you think will be hot this summer.

5. Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. You are responsible for the cost (if any) of sending your Competition entry to us. Entries are at no cost to the participants and no purchase is necessary.

6. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

7. The competition opens at 10.00am on 21/04/2012.

8. The competition closes at 11.59 pm on 29/04/2012. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.

9. The winner will be chosen from a random draw of correct entries. One winner will receive a pair of Pierre Cardin sunglasses.

10. LillaJade.blogspot.co.uk accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prizes.

11. The winners will be announced on the blog and Twitter on Monday 30^th April 2012 and will be notified by email on this date.
