Not many photos this week! I've been a bit distracted as I went back to work this week after a week off and to be honest I am exhausted. Roll on my holiday on October! This weekend I'm just going to be catching up on work and blog stuff and maybe go to the cinema with Joe.

I have had the week off this week and it has been lovely. The fam and I went to Coast to Coast for breakfast to celebrate my birthday and Joe and I went up to the Devils Dyke for some drinks. It's been really nice to spend so much quality time with Joe.

After afternoon tea with one my friend Erin,  we ended up going clubbing at the spare of the moment on Thursday night with  my other friend Hanna and we had a right old laugh!

LIFESTYLE | Weekly Portrait #6 Birthday Edition

Today is my 27th birthday, although in my head I feel a hell of a lot younger! As I was at my friends wedding last night I am feeling a little bit hungover so today Joe and I are having one of our epic Sunday roast and watching movies all day :) Don't worry I am going to celebrate my birthday next Saturday!

The wedding was absolutely beautiful and the bride looked amazing, like a mermaid. It was really rustic and chic, the venue was superb and the food was amazing too!

Anyway I need my movie fix! Have a lovely day.

LIFESTYLE | Weekly Portrait #5

I just realised that I hadn't posted a weekly portrait yet! I'm in prep for my friends wedding on Saturday so I though I would post this picture of me in a face mask. I'm doing the mask now incase it brings out any spots.

I've been really busy the last few weeks, and my weekend was taken up by a spa day at the Reading Room Day Spa for my friends hen party, I had a deep tissue massage on my back neck and shoulders followed by a Foot Ritual. It's a hard life! We then had a lovely dinner at Hotel Du Vin in Brighton.

LIFESTYLE | Weekly Portrait #3

I promise one day I will wear make up in my weekly portrait! The sun is out today which is amazing, so hopefully it'll stay that way! Now I need to think about buying a few summer pieces. This week my younger sister is graduating and I am so proud of her so we are having a graduation dinner with a few family members. I'm also going to the Curvy Kate bloggers event this week so I will let you know how that goes! Have a good week :)

LIFESTYLE | Weekly Portrait #2

So here is my second ever weekly portrait, still haven't worked out that I need to be putting make up on, but to be honest I think I look OK.
Despite the fact that I blog regularly about beauty products, I am a strong believer in feeling comfortable in your own skin. I know not everyone is make up crazy but it saddens me when women feel that they can't leave the house with out a full face of slap on.
Yes, I wear make up quite regularly but I am also perfectly happy going out sans war paint, I think it's good to give your skin time to breathe.

Today the Olympic torch is passing through Brighton and Hove. To celebrate the Rizzle Kicks are playing a free show and I managed to get tickets. Lets just hope the weather perks up because I don't want to get wet and muddy :(
